PRESS
„The climax of the evening was her Concerto No.5 in E flat by Beethoven. With stunning superiority, both technically and musically, she interprets the outstandingly complex soloist role. Her touch is exquisitely varied, displaying a high quality rhythmic support. She emphasizes each accent, each impulse, each passage. The animated parts and the succession of chords are always clear.”
„Alina Bercu fascinates her audience with a fine velvet tone. Her touch conjures up brilliant colours of sound. Her playing is natural... a wonderful presentation of Schubert's nostalgic melancholy... it leaves me speechless.“
„Alina Bercu has knowledge of styles, handling the diversity of touches in an absolutely incredible way...“
“This concert was a pleasure. It was an extraordinary discovery, especially of the pianist, a very young, but extremely talented interpreter.”
